Why these prompts work (and your “3 tips” post doesn’t)


Here’s the thing: most people create content that’s technically valuable but emotionally vacant. It teaches, but it doesn’t move. It informs, but it doesn’t activate. It sounds smart, but it doesn’t sell.

Example: When I started showing up as the only option for my dream clients is when my DMs flooded with people asking how to work with me.


Why it works:

  • It builds your authority because you’re showing exactly what you did to get the result they want.

  • It also makes your audience solution aware - you’re telling them what actually needs to shift if they want that same result.


2️⃣ The reason you haven’t (a goal your ideal client wants to achieve) yet has nothing to do with (the thing they think would help them achieve this goal, but is actually not helping them)


Example: The reason you haven’t hit 10k months has nothing to do with posting more content.


Why it works:

  • It makes your audience problem aware by calling out what they think the problem is - and showing them it’s not what’s keeping them stuck.

  • It shifts their belief and positions you as someone who sees the real problem.


3️⃣ I don’t know who needs to hear this but (something your ideal client think they need to do, but isn’t the real solution), isn’t going to magically (the result they want)


Example: I don’t know who needs to hear this but cutting down dairy and gluten won’t magically fix your acne.


Why it works:

  • It makes your audience problem aware by calling out a surface-level fix they believe will solve the problem - and showing them that’s not it.

  • This helps shift their belief and gets them to start looking for the real solution.


4️⃣ Why I no longer buy into the narrative that (something that is commonly done in experts in your niche) and focus on (the thing that actually matters) instead.


Example: Why I no longer buy into the narrative that you need hours of cardio and focus on strength training instead.


Why it works:

  • It positions you as a thought leader by showing that you don’t follow outdated or mainstream industry advice.

  • It also shifts beliefs by introducing a new way of thinking - and attracts people who are already frustrated with the old way.


5️⃣ The 5 biggest shifts I’d make if I wanted (specific goal your ideal client wants to achieve) by (timeframe).

Why it works:

  • It builds authority because you’re showing what you’d actually do to get the result - based on experience.

  • It also makes your audience solution aware by showing them what needs to shift - and naturally sets up your offer as the thing that helps them do it.


6️⃣ It’s not that (something they think they need to do or have to achieve a goal), it’s actually (the real problem)


Example: It’s not that you don’t have enough time - it’s that your tasks aren’t aligned with your goals.


Why it works:

  • It makes your audience problem aware by calling out what they think the issue is - and naming what’s actually keeping them stuck.

  • It also builds trust by showing that you understand the real reason they’re not seeing results.


7️⃣ If you want to start (specific goal your ideal client wants to achieve), here’s what to shift in your (specific area) today


Example: If you want to start cooking healthier meals, here’s what to shift in your grocery shopping habits today.


Why it works:

  • It makes your audience solution aware by giving them a clear next step they probably haven’t thought about.

  • It also shows that you know how to make results feel simple and doable - which builds trust and positions you as someone who gets people into action.


The bottom line?

Most content is designed to be cute. Yours should be designed to convert. And these 7 prompts? They’re not just cute - they’re calibrated. They are buyer-psychology-backed, conversion-triggering, vibe-verified frameworks to build belief and create momentum.
